We need volunteers! Please consider helping the Friends by volunteering for any of the following positions:
Bookstore Clerk
Bookstore clerks welcome and assist our customers, accept and sort
incoming books, arrange books on the shelves, work the cash register, promote Friends membership, and maintain the bookstore.
Sorter
Sorters help to prepare books for our semiannual sales by separating them into categories, boxing the up and taking the boxes to our storage room. It helps to have a strong back!
Pricer
Pricers research the prices of used books online in order to set the prices we charge in the bookstore and identify possible books for our online sales program. Familiarity with computers is a must.
Book Sale Helper
We need many people working together to put on our semiannual book sales. Duties vary, but involve setting up the sale, working during the sale and cleaning up afterward.
