Cash Gifts

Gifts of cash are the simplest and most direct means of support for the Foundation. One click on the DONATE button will direct you to Paypal.  Checks should be made payable to the Hercules Library Foundation.

Matching Gifts

Many employers will match their employees’ contributions to charitable nonprofit groups. As these programs vary by employer, donors should contact their human resources departments for details. Matching gifts may even apply to retired employees.

Tribute and Memorial Gifts

Gifts “In Memory of” or “In Honor of” are a great way to pay tribute to that special someone and also support the Foundation.

Planned Gifts

Please consider creating a bequest to the Foundation in your Will or Trust. A planned gift to the Library Foundation insures the future of the library and its programs, as well as creates your own legacy of support.

Corporate Sponsorships

Corporations are encouraged to consider a corporate sponsorship. Sponsorships can provide visibility and corporate philanthropy benefits.

Naming Opportunities

Naming opportunities exist in many areas of the library, including naming the Library itself. In addition to a plaque in the sponsored area, names of major donors ($50,000 to $1.5 million) are etched on an illuminated column located near the library entry. These larger donations may be pledged over a period of time, but no plaques or names will be displayed until the donation is paid in full.

SkyGarden Recognition

Donor names for contributions can be placed on the glass wall that surrounds the Sky Garden.  The names are visible from inside the Hercules Library.
